DeShawn: Hey hey hey!

Rudy Mac: Can we all just take a second and savor what is going down in Golden Pro Wrestling Season 6!?

DeShawn: I sense a Rudy Rundown!

Rudy Mac: Maybe you are telepathic! Here we go! FIRST, our hardworking friend, Ejercito de Juan, appears to be EXPOSED as an illegal immigrant by Awoke!

Rudy Mac: We had the WORST debut musical performance of all time last show with “The Headliner” Steve Rose!

DeShawn: I HATE music!

Rudy Mac: Shotcaller is STILL the Pure Gold Champion after taking down Flip Costa!

DeShawn: I HATE bla- oh, I see, Rudy. Nice try!

Rudy Mac: It would have made a good sound bite! Anyways, Your Captains seem to be coming OUT OF NOWHERE and plowing through the tag team division!

DeShawn: Those guys are alright in my book!

Rudy Mac: We’ve also got the Draconian TARGETING Fuse Makoto!

DeShawn: Stay strong, Fuse!

Rudy Mac: Dr. Dean and Psych Ward seem to be going back-and-forth with GPW’s newest faction, Power Play!

DeShawn: And Dr. Dean seems to be getting high on with that Strenstrata stuff!

Rudy Mac: That’s right! That bull medication that’s banned in 39 states!

DeShawn: I won’t lie though; it does produce results!

DeShawn: No worries!

Nonsense Begone

Gold Strike 29 switches to the backstage parking lot for its first segment of the night, and the crowd immediately reacts when the Greater Memphis Psychiatric Institute white van pulls up and parks.

BOO!!!

Golden Pro Wrestling’s head physician, Dr. Garran, is dutifully standing by with a stack of cups in her hand and confronts Dr. Dean when he hops out of the passenger seat.

Dr. Garran: Dean, I need to speak with you, now.

The leader of Psych Ward scowls at Dr. Garran.

Dr. Dean: Oh, it’s you again. I thought I made my point when I re-acquired Abel and successfully transformed him into the magnificent member of society you see now!

Dr. Garran: MAGNIFICENT!? You’ve physically and mentally butchered him!

Orderly Summers and Orderly Caruso line up behind Dr. Dean and clench their jaws with disapproving faces.

Dr. Dean: I’m sorry, but all of this has been litigated! I have no further business with you!

The beautiful doctor smiles back insincerely.

Dr. Garran: Ah, but you do… my understanding is that Decade is defending his Silver Championship belt tonight, and presumably in the back of your van?

Dr. Dean: Yes. What of it? He will remain there while my Orderlies dispatch the over-aged Wild Kards in a few minutes.

Dr. Garran: I’m afraid that you’re going to be delayed while I conduct a surprise test for performance-enhancing substances!

She holds up a stack of cups in her hands with a smirk, presumably for Dr. Dean and his group to use for urine samples. Instead of taking them, Dr. Dean grins back at her.

Dr. Dean: Well, this is very cute… but I’m afraid you’ll be disappointed, Garran. Caruso, give me my contract!

The tall Italian American orderly dutifully pulls a piece of paper from out of his pocket and hands it to Dr. Dean. The leader of Psych Ward then holds out the paper to Dr. Garran and points to a specific paragraph for her.

Dr. Dean: As you’ll see, Commission Meloche granted me complete authority over managing medications and medical testing for my group. Haha!

As she reads through the contract, Dr. Garran gets a disappointed look and hands it back to Dr. Dean.

Dr. Garran: This isn’t over, Dean.

Dr. Dean: That’s doctor Dean to you! Come on, gentlemen!

With a wave of his arm, the Orderlies follow Dr. Dean past Dr. Garran and enter the FedExForum rear entrance.

Proudly Presented

The show then transitions into a locker room where Fuse Makoto is setting down his gym bag. The sight of Golden Pro Wrestling’s former Pure Gold Champion sends the Gold Strike 29 crowd into a COMPLETE POP.

Fuse’s wife, Aiko, is standing next to her husband.

Aiko: Big night for us, Fuse! Now you get back on your winning way, and then you defeat strange alien man at season finale.

The young Japanese wrestler just looks at his gym bag and nods back silently. Then the door to the locker room opens and GPW Commissioner Parker Meloche enters.

The fans back inside the main arena of FedExForum cheer warmly for the showrunner who betrays a concerned face.

Parker: Fuse, I need to speak with you.

The former Pure Gold Champion looks back at the commissioner.

Fuse: Yes, Mr. Meloche. What can I do for you?

Aiko sidles up to Fuse with a perturbed face.

Parker: I just wanted to check in and see how things are going. I got a very interesting business proposition, but it just didn’t seem like something you would be associated with.

Fuse: The sponsorship?

Parker: Okay, so you are aware of what’s going on.

The young Japanese man gets a disappointed face.

Fuse: I am aware…

His wife quickly interjects and points her a finger at Parker.

Aiko: Good business opportunity. You get cut too, no? Why you complain!?

Parker: Don’t get me wrong, Golden Pro Wrestling is happy to receive some compensation as part of your sponsorship package. But… I’m just surprised you will do this.

Fuse attempts to reply, but Aiko again interjects.

Aiko: You just be quiet. Fuse make good decision. Go away now.

Commissioner Meloche looks over at Fuse as if needing some sort of validation of Aiko’s statement.

Fuse: Thank you for your concern, Mr. Meloche. I have family back in Japan who need money very badly-

Aiko: No! You accept sponsorship because you believe in their company! You like company! Tell world!

After putting his head down for a moment, Fuse clears his throat and looks at his boss.

Fuse: Yes, Mr. Meloche. Nissan is best company. Make best car. I am proud to deliver my Nikuya Strike as presented by Nissan.

The GPW showrunner scratches his brow.

Parker: Okay then… just let me know if there’s anything else I can do.

The young Canadian businessman leaves the locker room, and Aiko smiles contently with how the segment played out.

The Wild Kards vs. The Orderlies

Tag Team Match

The show returns to the main arena within FedExForum, and the crowd blasts off to the sound of “Lit Up” by Buckcherry. The Wild Kards walk out from backstage with this signature black and orange attire.

Rudy Mac: The Wild Kards, former top tier GPW Tag Team Champions, are back in action for the second time this season as they try to bounce back from a loss to Your Captains at Gold Strike 26!

DeShawn: C’mon Seth and Sean, you got this!

Sean Kard climbs into the ring and Seth takes his spot on a turnbuckle ring apron.

The music switches to “Happy?” by Mudvayne, and the Orderlies walk out with Dr. Dean walking behind them.

BOO!!!

Rudy Mac: Is it me or are the Orderlies getting a bit bigger?

DeShawn: Bigger, meaner… whatever Dr. Dean has going on for their workout regimen is paying off!

Rudy Mac: It may not be just wholesome exercise, that’s all I’m saying!

Their boss, Dr. Dean, provides encouragement from ringside while the Orderlies walk up the stairs.

Dr. Dean: Focus on their mid-sections! They have relatively diminished core muscles that make them susceptible to victimization!

Orderly Summers nods and climbs into the ring to face off against Sean Kard.

Rudy Mac: This is the FOURTH match-up between these two teams with the Wild Kards winning TWO of those!

The bell rings and the crowd cheers for the start of Gold Strike 29’s first action.

Sean is able to avoid Orderly Summer’s attack for the first couple of minutes, and he finally sneaks behind to deliver a leg sweep.

DeShawn: Can the Orderlies keep up?

The elder Wild Kard brother then runs to the ropes, bounces off and hits a knee on his opponent’s head.

1… 2… NO!!!

Rudy Mac: Now we’re rolling!

Sean tags in Seth, and the more acrobatic of the Wild Kard brothers attempts to match his brother’s last move.

Without missing a beat, Seth Kard runs at Orderly Summers but is caught mid-air and nailed with a rib breaker.

DeShawn: CRUNCH!

1… 2… NO!!!

Now Summers gets over to Caruso and tags in his partner. Caruso continues the beat down for the next couple of minutes, and caps it off with his sit-out powerbomb.

MEDICATION TIME!!!

Rudy Mac: That’s got to please Dr. Dean!

1… 2… … NO!!!

The crowd pops for the miraculous kickout. The match continues and Caruso is caught with a flying kick from Seth Kard which lays him out mid-ring.

Shamelessly, Dr. Dean yells at the referee.

Dr. Dean: What was that, good sir!? That kick was not in accordance with regulations!

The referee engages back, which diverts his attention. While Seth Kard climbs to the top rope to presumably deliver his finisher, Orderly Summers enters the ring.

DeShawn: Things are about to get mixed up in here!

Behind the ref’s back, Sean Kard attempts to deflect the interfering Caruso, but is dropped with a big boot. Caruso continues and hits Seth Kard in the back on the turnbuckle and then lifts Seth off the top rope to nail a MAJOR tiltawhirl slam.

WRECK TIME!!!

Rudy Mac: This could be the deciding factor in this match!

Orderly Summers gets back up, and the two Orderlies lift Seth Kard into a two-man powerbomb.

BACK IN YOUR CELL!!!

Dr. Dean disengages in the conversation with the referee while Orderly Caruso climbs out of the ring, and the referee only sees Seth Kard being covered by Summers.

1… 2… 3!!!

BOO!!!

Rudy Mac: We might not like how the Orderlies got the win, but that counts nonetheless!

With a big smile, Dr. Dean claps and provides kudos to the Orderlies as they leave the ring.

Dr. Dean: Huzzah, gentlemen!

The show goes to the backstage interview area where Vicky Cogliano is standing by with a microphone next to Ejercito de Juan.

The crowd gives a lively cheer for the luchador while Bounce Squad keeps an eye on everything from behind GPW’s reporter.

Vicky: Hi everyone! I’m standing by with the humblest, most selfless, sweetest wrestler on the entire roster, Ejercito de Juan!

Ejercito de Juan silently nods while Vicky motions for one of her Bounce Squad protectors, Chavez, to approach.

Vicky: For the purpose of making sure the GPW faithful understand you 100% accurately, my friend here, Chavez, will be interpreting for us.

Chavez nods to Ejercito de Juan and Juan nods back with approval.

Vicky: I’ll get right into it! Commissioner Meloche informed me that you have very important news, so is there a statement you’d like to make?

The panicked Mexican wrestler emphatically begins to yell.

Juan: ¡El ICE ha capturado a mi familia, y el hombre llamado Awoke es el responsable!

Chavez: He says that Awoke got his fam taken by ICE.

The fans inside the main arena gasp in concern.

Vicky: That’s awful!

Juan: ¡Le ruego al comisionado Meloche que ayude! ¡A mi esposa, a mis hijas, a mi madre, a mi hermano!

The fans inside the main arena gasp in concern.

Chavez: He says that he needs help from the Commish. He’s really concerned about his fam, too.

EdJ puts his head down and begins to cry, and the GPW reporter pats him on the back in condolement.

Vicky: There you have it, ladies and gentlemen! Our dear Ejercito de Juan needs our support!

Single Fall

After the show transitions inside the main arena of FedExForum, the crowd POPS INSANELY when “Name Of The Game” by The Crystal Method begins to play.

The former Pure Gold Champion walks out from backstage with his wife Aiko walking behind.

The show quickly switches to a two-shot of Rudy Mac and DeShawn where both announcers are reading from scripts.

Rudy Mac: Alright, everyone, I’m proud to introduce our beloved Fuse as Fearless Fuse Makoto Presented by Nissan!

DeShawn: And I provide a supportive remark on the quality of their vehicles!

Rudy Mac: No! That’s the prompt, DeShawn! You don’t actually read that!

Fuse climbs into the ring and takes a moment to focus. His wife Aiko stands by.

DeShawn: That looks like a new purse!

The music fades out, and the peppy sounds of “Mucha lucha” by Chicos de Barrio hits the speaker system.

Ejercito de Juan walks out dejectedly, and the crowd attempts to inspire him with a loud cheer.

Rudy Mac: I hope Juan can concentrate out there with his family taken by ICE!

Juan does a hop onto the ring apron and then another hop over the ropes. He half-heartedly approaches Fuse Makoto and the bell rings.

It’s obvious from the start that Fuse is outmatching Ejercito de Juan and finally delivers a spinning dropkick.

1… 2… NO!!!

Rudy Mac: It’s worth noting that in their only previous match, Fuse Makoto defeated our favorite luchador at Gold Strike 6.

DeShawn: Looks like he’s cruising to another win right now!

Fuse picks EdJ up and flings him to the ropes, but Ejercito de Juan returns running and hits a jumping tornado DDT.

DeShawn: MAYBE NOT!

1… 2… … NO!!!

The crowd lets loose some excitement that the athletic match will continue.

Juan continues to keep attacking and then snaps Fuse down with a flying jawbreaker.

1… 2… NO!!!

Rudy Mac: No matter what is going on in Juan’s life, he seems to be giving it his all!

Fuse reverses momentum and catches Ejercito de Juan with a sudden spinning tornado kick.

NIKUYA STRIKE PRESENTED BY NISSAN

Rudy Mac: Or THAT happens!

1… 2… 3!!!

Fuse and the referee begin to immediately check on Juan in concern. The luchador sits up and rubs his chin gingerly. As Fuse helps EdJ up, the fans cheer in recognition of the good-natured moment.

DeShawn: If there’s anyone with a bigger heart than Juan, it’s my boy Fuse!

The former Pure Gold Champion’s wife approaches a camera, and a microphone picks up her voice.

Aiko: Nissan is best!

The show quickly switches to a camera waiting backstage behind the entrance curtain. Fuse Makoto walks in from the entrance stage helping Ejercito de Juan who is still dazed from the Nikuya Strike Presented by Nissan.

The seven-foot-tall blue-haired named Awoke lumbers up dramatically.

BOO!!!

Awoke: Juan, what a travesty! Immigration laws can and should be broken! The facists took your heroic family!

GPW’s sole luchador looks up from inside his mask but appears unable to speak.

Awoke: Say nothing my little impoverished friend! And, no need to get Commissioner Meloche involved! I WILL HANDLE THIS!

The Japanese wrestler comments on behalf of Juan.

Fuse: And how will you do that, dumb man? You ruined his life!

Awoke: With the most effective act possible… PROTESTING!

As the San Francisco SJW smiles smugly to himself, Fuse shakes his head and helps Juan off to a locker room.

Fuse’s wife, Aiko, walks past Awoke while talking to herself.

Aiko: Americans so dumb.

Decade vs. Raft Daddy

Silver Championship Match, Single Fall

Following the backstage confrontation, the show flips back inside the main arena of FedExForum, and the fans buzz to themselves until “Novacain” by 10 Years begins to play through the speakers.

BOO!!!

Rudy Mac: You know when Psych Ward is in the building, it’s going to be a busy night!

Decade haphazardly stumbles out with the Silver Championship strapped around his waist. Dr. Dean and the Orderlies escort him as a unit.

Rudy Mac: While at one point he was a respected, handsome, up-and-coming wrestling, Decade is now a tormented soul under the care of Dr. Dean!

Dr. Dean unstraps the Silver Championship belt from Decade and then takes a moment to marvel at it. He breathes on the metal and uses his shirt cuff to buff out a blemish.

DeShawn: I’m guessing Dr. Dean still thinks the Silver Championship is his regardless of who wears it in Psych Ward!

Decade gets into the ring and erratically walks around while the music changes to “Take Me to the River” by Talking Heads. The crowd POPS for Raft Daddy after he enters the arena.

Rudy Mac: What do you think of those sandals on Raft Daddy, DeShawn?

DeShawn: Chacos are for BADASSES!

Raft Daddy climbs the steps and gives a flex to the crowd in excitement and then ducks under a rope. He walks straight up to Decade who looks back at him puzzledly.

Rudy Mac: We should see some great moves in this one because they’re both fantastic suplex machines!

DeShawn: This one is for the Silver!

The bell rings, and two start things off with a series of grappling attempts and reversals. Raft Daddy gets the first piece of solid offense and rips Decade over his back in a suplex with a bridge pin attempt.

1… 2… NO!!!

Both competitors get back up and continue their athletic affair. Dr. Dean watches in delight when Decade grabs Raft Daddy from behind and hits a full-nelson leg sweep.

Rudy Mac: Decade has a hundred moves, I swear it!

1… 2… NO!!!

The fans cheer wildly after Raft Daddy reverses another suplex from Decade, hooks his opponent’s leg and swings him over his head into a fisherman’s suplex bridge pin attempt.

DeShawn: It’s a duplex suplex because he is bringing the HOUSE down!

1… 2… NO!!!

The torrent pace of the match doesn’t stop, but Decade finally slows it down by stuffing Raft Daddy in the corner. The mental patient slams the rafting guide’s head into the turnbuckle.

The referee begins to yell at Decade to stop but Dr. Dean immediately interjects.

Dr. Dean: Good sir! The turnbuckle is perfectly legitimate ring apparatus for use in combat!

Decade slaps away the referee’s hand and pulls Raft Daddy to mid-ring. He lifts the Colorado rafter into the air for a jumping vertical suplex.

THE PERFECT 10!!!

Rudy Mac: That’s a tough move to kick out from.

1… … 2… … NO!!!

DeShawn: Raft Daddy just showed some Class V toughness!

The current Silver Champion looks perturbed by the setback for a moment but then continues to press his advantage.

After swinging Raft Daddy off the ropes, he attempts to pull the rafting guide into a gutwrench suplex. Instead, Raft Daddy reverse it into his own gutwrench suplex that shakes the middle of the ring.

Rudy Mac: Rudy likey!

1… 2… … NO!!!

DeShawn: It’s never easy to win the Silver Championship!

Raft Daddy picks Decade up and hoists him onto his back and delivers a fallaway slam which sends the fans into a HUGE POP.

GO WITH THE FLOW!!!

Standing down next to the ring, Dr. Dean yells encouragement to Decade.

Decade: Channel everything inside of you, my boy! All the voices, make them into one!

1… 2… … … NO!!!

Rudy Mac: UNBELIEVABLE kickout!

Decade suddenly comes back to life and kicks Raft Daddy in the jaw, which stuns the rafting guide momentarily.

He gets up with a particularly deranged look and lunges at Raft Daddy, knocks him down and mounts the challenger. Subsequently, the mental patient begins laying in savage punches.

DeShawn: I can’t look!

Dr. Dean: Now, my boy!

Decade lifts Raft Daddy up into the air and delivers his second jumping vertical suplex of the night.

A PERFECT 10!!!

1… 2… … … 3!!!

Rudy Mac: Say what you will about Raft Daddy’s resilience, Decade was able to use an extra level of intensity to pick up the solid title defense!

Dr. Dean instructs the Orderlies to enter the ring, and he follows them with the Silver Championship belt in his hands.

DeShawn: Uh, Rudy, is this normal!?

Rudy Mac: No, this doesn’t look like it’s over!

Once inside the ring, the Orderlies pick Raft Daddy up and deliver a two-person powerbomb.

Rudy Mac: Hogwash! Psych Ward is fixing to lay another beat down on a member of Power Play like they did to King Crab Mack at Gold Strike 26!

Dr. Dead motions to Decade, who steps in and lifts Raft Daddy into the air and drops him with a jumping vertical suplex.

DeShawn: Not a THIRD time!

A Perfect 10!!!

The rafting guide lays motionless in the middle of the ring while Dr. Dean laughs.

Dr. Dean: Muahaha!

BOO!!!

Suddenly, the boos turn into wild cheers as a wrestler runs out from backstage and down to the ring.

Rudy Mac: Whatevs!

DeShawn: Don’t become apathetic, Rudy!

Rudy Mac: NO! The wrestler Whatevs is coming to save Raft Daddy!

Whatevs slides into the ring and immediately begins attacking Psych Ward and manages to lift Orderly Summers into a belly-to-back suplex.

THE WHATEVER!!!

Rudy Mac: What unexpected courage from Whatevs!

Orderly Caruso and Decade manage to corral Whatevs and start taking turns delivering crush punches to their head.

Dr. Dean: Another patient who obviously has a mental disorder! Perhaps you should be checked into my facility!

The fans POP AGAIN as King Crab Mack and Crosscheck Beck come barreling down the entrance ramp.

DeShawn: REINFORCEMENTS!

Dr. Dean sees the two fan favorites entering the ring and immediately orders the Orderlies and Decade to leave.

KCM and Crosscheck Beck rush into the ring just in time to chase out Psych Ward. Dr. Dean quickly leads his group around the ring and back up the entrance stage.

The leader of Psych Ward sneers to himself and carries the Silver Championship belt away on behalf of Decade.

Rudy Mac: Dr. Dean and his crew live to fight another day, but it looks like things aren’t done in the ring!

Crosscheck Beck helps pick up the damaged Raft Daddy from the mat, and King Crab Mack lifts Whatevs to a standing position. The trio of Power Play takes a moment to size up Whatevs, and a production assistant throws in two microphones.

Whatevs picks up on microphone while KCM picks up the other, and the arena quiets to hear the upcoming conversation better.

DeShawn: This should be interesting!

KCM: Hey, Whatevs right?

Whatevs: Yeah, man. Good to meet you.

KCM: Why’d you come running out here?

Whatevs: I’ve been watching what Psych Ward is up to, and I hate it. Plus, I really respect you guys. After all, hockey players have to respect each other.

The crowd gives a cheer at the attempt for bond-building.

KCM: You play hockey, too?

Whatevs: Yeah, played goalie all my life, man.

Crosscheck Beck: We actually need a goalie!

The crabber squints his eyes and then gives a look of respect to Whatevs.

KCM: Nice, we should get you on our beer league team.

Whatevs: That’s not the only team I want to be a part of. Power Play is what matters right now; I want to be a part of the group that is taking on a WHACK doctor!

King Crab Mack, Crosscheck Beck and Raft Daddy all look at each other before the group give nods of non-verbal agreement.

The Bering Sea Badass puts the microphone back up to his lips.

KCM: Alright, Whatevs. You’re IN!

The crowd gives a MASSIVE cheer as the ranks of Power Play grow.

Rudy Mac: Dr. Dean’s war against Power Play just got harder!

Gold Strike 29 marches on, and the show transitions to backstage where Vicky Cogliano and Bounce Squad are standing by with Shotcaller and his gang members, Choo Choo and Wazzup.

BOO!!!

The collective group Bloods called 85 Piru sneers and chuckles to themselves, and Shotcaller points to the Pure Gold Championship slung over his shoulder.

Vicky: I’m back ladies and gentlemen! This time I am excited to be joined by the Pure Gold Champion, Shotcaller!

BOO!!!

Vicky: Shotcaller, you were able to defeat Flip Costa at Gold Strike 28 and maintain your status atop the Golden Pro Wrestling landscape. Can you talk a little bit about that match?

Choo Choo: Shotcaller ain’t gon’ lose to some acrobat!

Wazzup: Flip Costa done got bodybagggggeeeddd.

Vicky: I’m glad you brought that up, Wazzup. Shotcaller, what do you say to those who claim you’re only the Pure Gold Champion because of Da Bloodz interfering on your behalf?

The Bloods gang leader chuckles to himself.

Shotcaller: Yo yo yo! Dat sheet iz hilarious! Did I need their help at Starfall when ya boy beat Fuse in da cage? NAH! I could win clean or dirty, it don’t mattah. It’s gonna be what itz gonna be.

BOO!!!

Vicky: Tonight, two of Golden Pro Wrestling’s BEST are going to be competing for a chance to face YOU at the Season 6 finale, Blood And Bling! What are your thoughts on Violence vs. Golden Ben Miller?

The current Pure Gold Champion thinks carefully to himself and then looks straight into the camera.

Shotcaller: Ya know, Vicks, I been thinking reallll long hand hard bout dat. NOT! I don’t give no care who da hell wins tonight. But whoever it is, I got a little surprise fo ya.

The crowd back inside the main arena of FedExForum buzz to themselves with interest.

Vicky: Please, go on!

Shotcaller: Ya see, I had a little convo with Commish Meloche after he done told errr-one dat he be standing by to take match stipulations. So, I decided to make a little stipulation of my own for Blood And Bling!

The crowd lets out a cheer in anticipation.

Shotcaller: Listen up… I’m a BLOOD, I’m on BLOOD, AND I’M FINNA MAKE SOMEONE BLEED BLOOD!

Behind Shotcaller, Choo Choo and Wazzup start nodding their heads.

Choo Choo: Yahhhh!

Wazzup: Tell em boi!

Shotcaller: At the Season 6 finale, it gonna be a FIRST BLOOD MATCH! I’m going move-for-move with WHOEVA, and I’m finna make them bust WIDE open. Turn dat ring RED!

The GPW reporter looks legitimately surprised.

Vicky: WHOA! And Commissioner Meloche has agreed to this?

Shotcaller: Dat right! Violence, Golden Ben Miller, it don’t matter. I just see bags of blood… YA HEAR ME?

Following his signature line, Shotcaller struts off with Choo Choo and Wazzup, and Vicky turns back to the camera.

Vicky: There you have it folks! Shotcaller will face the winner of tonight’s match at Blood And Bling in a First Blood Match!

The momentum of Gold Strike 29 doesn’t stop when the show quickly switches to the parking lot near the rear entrance doors. The crowd bursts into cheering when Fuse Makoto emerges wearing street attire with his gym bag slung over his shoulder.

His wife, Aiko, follows closely while talking on the phone and carrying her purse.

Aiko: Fu~yūzu wa otokonokodesu. Kare wa totemo tanoshikute, watashinokazoku ni takusan no okane o motarashite kuremasu.

Fuse barely listens as he begins leading them in the direction of their car.

Suddenly, the lights in parking lot begin the flicker. Aiko attempts to run toward Fuse for protection, but three blue beams of light coalesce between them as the Draconian and the Dominars materialize.

BOO!!!

Fuse: What you want!?

The Dominars both put their arms around Aiko, and dissolve away with Fuse’s wife into a blue light and completely gone from the parking lot.

BOO!!!

Queen Solis’ general, The Draconian, looks down at the panicked Fuse Makoto.

The Draconian: Fuse Mah-koto Presented by Niss-ahn. Your test has begun.

The young Japanese wrestler looks back at the Draconian with contempt.

Fuse: What have you done with Aiko?!

The Draconian: Do not worry. Your woman will not be harmed. As I speak, the Dominars are putting her inside a stasis pod where she will wait until the Season 6 final-eh, Blood And Bling.

Both wrestlers stand, looking at each other in a surreal moment of tension.

Fuse: What do I have to do to get her back, alien beast.

The Draconian: You will come to my ship orbiting your pa-thetic planet. If you can find your woman’s stasis pod and rescue her before I defeat you by pin count, then you will be victorious.

The crowd inside the main arena of FedExForum can be heard POPPING BIGTIME at the prospect of Fuse Makoto and the Draconian doing battle inside a spaceship.

Fuse: This is what you do!? You toy with us humans!

The large alien stares coldly back into Fuse’s eyes.

The Draconian: You don’t have to save her. I know truth that goes on in your life. But, if you have the honor that Draconium thinks you do, you will try. You will try and you will FAIL.

Fuse: Of course I will save her!

The Draconian: If you don’t… Aiko will be returning to Draconia for… tests.

The signature blue light coalesces around the Draconian and he dissipates in front of the former Pure Gold Champion.

Fuse’s face betrays a million emotions; however fear does not appear to be one of them.

Golden Ben Miller vs. Violence

Pure Gold Championship #1 Contender Match

When the show returns inside the main arena of FedExForum, the entire arena is BUZZING ALIVE after what they just witnessed.

Rudy Mac: DESHAWN! What in the world did we just see!

DeShawn: Definitely not something IN this world! The Draconian just TOOK Aiko!

Rudy Mac: And I’m just getting word from the production crew that this is officially being billed as an Orbital Rescue Match between Fuse Makoto and the Draconian!

DeShawn: I’m not sure what has me more excited; an Orbital Rescue Match or a First Blood Match between Shotcaller and the winner of tonight’s main event!

As if on cue, “My Hero” by Foo Fighters begins to pump into the speaker system, and the Gold Strike 29 crowd unleashes the LOUDEST pop of the night.

Rudy Mac: If anyone can bring some order to the chaos, it’s Golden Ben Miller!

GBM walks out from backstage with a confident look and then takes his time making his way down the entrance ramp as the fans cheer on.

DeShawn: GBM can take all the time he wants in my book!

After entering the ring, GBM climbs up on each turnbuckle and holds an arm up to the fans in show strength and solidarity.

Rudy Mac: If Golden Ben Miller wins tonight, he’ll punch his ticket for his THIRD shot at the Pure Gold Championship!

DeShawn: He entered the league bit raw, but he’s definitely seasoned now and ready to cook!

Golden Ben Miller hops down from the last turnbuckle, and the music switches to the blaring rock song called “Halo” by Soil.

BOO!!!

The first Pure Gold Champion in Golden Pro Wrestling history, Violence, stomps out onto the entrance stage. He acts as if his hands are cold and blows in to them, only to disrespectfully pop his middle fingers out from the air pressure as a joke to himself.

BOO!!!

Violence laughs at his own middle-finger gag and then walks to the ring.

Rudy Mac: If there’s one thing that I’m SICK OF, it’s those big fat middle fingers!

The Asshole From Alberta gets into the ring and approaches Golden Ben Miller.

Rudy Mac: This is our THIRD major singles main event in a row! Now all the history between these two is going to spill over into a match with MAJOR consequences!

The music fades out and the two wrestlers stand and stare at one another in the middle of the ring. Even after the bell sounds, they maintain their stare down.

DeShawn: Something’s got to give!

The two wrestlers begin to speak to each other with contemptuous glares.

Violence: You and me again, Benny boy.

GBM: The ring is the only time you have company, Violence. Outside the ring, you’re just a pathetic loner with a drinking problem.

The former Pure Gold Champion laughs and pats his hands against his gut, which is obviously more developed than the early seasons of GPW.

Violence: Believe it or not, but I’m in the BEST shape of my life! And just to imagine, I kicked the CRAP out of you at Gold Rush when I didn’t give a SHIT about my conditioning!

The Golden Warhorse steps back and shakes his head toward his competitor.

GBM: Alright, dumbass, let’s see what you’ve got!

Gold Strike 29’s fans BURST into cheering when the two upper card GPW wrestlers begin to trade shots back and forth.

Rudy Mac: That’s enough talk, now we’re getting into the action!

Golden Ben Miller starts to wear down on Violence and levels his opponent with a massive clothesline. GBM follows it up with a standing elbow drop that shakes the ring.

1… 2… NO!!!

The next couple of minutes feature GBM continuing to press Violence, but Violence surprises the Golden Warhorse with a knee to the stomach followed by a DDT.

DeShawn: Don’t all of Violence’s moves just seem EXTRA!?

1… 2… NO!!!

The action plods along, and the two strong-yet-slightly-slow wrestlers make the most of their power move repertoire. Golden Ben Miller gets the upper hand and racks Violence onto his knee for an atomic drop.

Rudy Mac and DeShawn: Ouchie!

1… 2… NO!!!

Violence gets up to his feet and gingerly cups his groin with his hands, but when GBM goes to deliver a big boot, Violence catches it and spins Golden Ben Miller around.

Rudy Mac: Some quick reflexes from Violence!

The Asshole From Alberta lifts Ben up under his shoulder and SHAKES the ring with a sidewalk slam.

1… 2… NO!!!

Rudy Mac: I don’t think we should be surprised by these sorts of power moves!

With GBM still laid out in the middle of the ring, Violence gets to the top rope and jumps out with his middle fingers extended. The impact of the flying elbow drop rattles the Golden Warhorse’s prone body.

DeShawn: Someone check on the stability of the ring!

Violence then lifts Golden Ben Miller up onto his shoulders and the Gold Strike 29 transmission nearly fully pixelates.

THE BLUR OUT-NO!!!

Rudy Mac: That could have been a real problem for GBM!

Golden Ben Miller escapes Violence’s iconic FCC-banned finishing move. Instead, GBM shoves Violence into the corner and climbs up one turnbuckle rung. The crowd counts with each punch that GBM lands.

1! 2! 3! 4! 5! 6! 7! 8! 9! 10!

DeShawn: I’ve never counted this high!

GBM pulls Violence with him up to the very top of the turnbuckle.

Phones flash across the arena as Golden Ben Miller lifts Violence up and scoop slams him off the top rope outside of the ring and THROUGH THE ANNOUNCERS TABLE!

The table crashes into pieces while DeShawn and Rudy Mac fall away to avoid injury.

Rudy Mac manages to get his headset on.

Rudy Mac: DeShawn! You okay!?

The play-by-play commentator gets to his feet, puts his headset back on and looks down. Violence’s groggy body is covering what was their previous work desk.

DeShawn: MY TABLE!

As Golden Ben Miller gets down from the ring, the fans bust out into an impromptu chant celebrating what they just witnessed.

G-P-W! G-P-W! G-P-W!

Down at ringside, GBM takes a second to playfully dust off Rudy Mac’s and DeShawn’s shirts, which are covered with splinters and debris from the desk.

Rudy Mac: Thanks, Ben!

Violence is barely conscious when GBM picks him up and starts to bounce his head off the barricade.

DeShawn: Rudy, you keep an eye on the action, and I’ll try to get our table back together!

While DeShawn tries to pick up and reassemble the announcers table, Golden Ben Miller climbs up on to the barricade. He telegraphs a jumping axhandle and is caught by Violence mid-air and is pulled in for a bear hug.

Rudy Mac: How much time until the ref starts counting them out!?

Indeed, the referee begins his count.

1…

Violence doesn’t let go of GBM and keeps a tight bear hug squeeze.

2…

GBM’s eyes begin to bulge and his face turns red.

3…

DeShawn makes progress on the table, and Rudy Mac tries to help while still calling the action.

4…

Golden Ben Miller is able to get one of his arms out and starts to punch Violence in the head.

5…

Violence finally drops GBM, and the two wrestlers go back to trading shots back-and-forth.

6…

DeShawn now has the table nearly put back together in one shaky piece.

7…

Violence stuns GBM with a particularly hard punch.

8…

Golden Ben Miller collects himself and runs toward Violence delivering a shoulder block that knocks the Asshole From Alberta back toward the ring apron.

9…

GBM follows and rolls Violence into the ring before climbing in himself. Down at ringside, DeShawn gets excited that he finished rebuilding the table.

DeShawn: Alright, the table is GOOD TO GO!

Rudy Mac: Great job, DeShawn!

The match presses forward and the two iconic GPW warriors continue to trade moves. GBM runs at Violence for a spear, but the Asshole From Alberta picks the Golden Warhorse up in one motion.

Rudy Mac: I don’t like the look of this!

Violence carries Golden Ben Miller on his shoulders over to the ropes, and the transmission pixelates as GBM’s body goes flying out of the ring.

The transmission crystalizes just in time to see Golden Ben Miller’s body SMASH through the announcer’s table.

THE BLUR OUT FROM THE RING THROUGH THE ANNOUNCERS TABLE!!!

BOO!!!

DeShawn: NOOOOO!!!

Rudy Mac: GBM is in dire straights here!

DeShawn: I’m more upset about my table!

DeShawn: Alright, I gotta get this table back together… AGAIN!

Violence starts to laugh to himself, and then quickly hops down to the ringside. He wastes no time picking up GBM and guiding him back into the ring.

Once they are both returned inside the ring, Violence attempts to lift GBM onto his shoulders again.

Rudy Mac: Two Blur Outs is pretty much going to wrap this up!

The fans POP when Golden Ben Miller comes alive and escapes Violence’s clutch. When Violence spins to face Golden Ben Miller, he’s met with a kick to the stomach followed by a picture-perfect scoop slam.

Rudy Mac: Oh boy! Could this be the most illustrious move of all sports entertainment?!

Golden Ben Miller pulls off his knee pad and CHUCKS it into the crowd where fans begin to fight over it. He then runs to the ropes and bounces back to mid-ring.

He comes flying back over Violence’s body and then bounces off the far ropes. When he returns to mid-ring, he jumps HIGH in the air and DRILLS his knee into Violence’s head.

THE GOLDEN KNEE!!!

Rudy Mac: We’ll see if that’s enough!

1… … 2… … … 3!!!

The FedExForum begins to visibly shake from the EXPLOSION of cheering by the crowd.

DeShawn: It IS enough!

Golden Ben Miller rolls away from Violence’s body, gets to his feet and the referee holds his arm up while the PA announcer declares him the victor.

A production assistant hands a microphone up to Golden Ben Miller while Violence lays flat in the middle of the ring. The fans transition into a chant as the Golden War Horse climbs up a turnbuckle and looks out at the crowd.

G-B-M! G-B-M! G-B-M!

Rudy Mac: He delivered the win, and the fans are delivering the praise!

Golden Ben Miller lifts the microphone to his mouth, and the crowd begins to buzz.

GBM: Memphis… THAT ONE is for YOU!

Another loud cheer blows up across the arena.

GBM: Now, I heard what Shotcaller said… and I have NO problem with it. First Blood, LET’S DO IT!

Rudy Mac: He’s accepted the stipulation! It’s official! A Pure Gold Championship First Blood Match between Shotcaller and GOLDEN BEN MILLER!

DeShawn: I think this might be Ben’s time!

The fans quiet down, and then join along in the Miller family catchphrase.

GBM with crowd: AND. THAT. IS. GOLDEN!

The crowd ERUPTS one more time as GBM hops down from the turnbuckle and “My Hero” hits the speaker system. Violence remains knocked out in the middle of the ring.

Rudy Mac: Commissioner Meloche wanted to let the season breath to make it more entertaining? WELL, IT’S SURE WORKING! Gold Strike 30 is NEXT and it’s the FINAL show before the Season 6 finale, Blood And Bling! GOOD NIGHT!

The camera zooms out and shows GBM standing victoriously over Violence and the arena cheering him on, and the show fades to black…
