Abel Unstable gritted his teeth and pulled as hard as could against the leather restraints without success. In a moment of frustration, he slammed his head backward against the metal table within the Greater Memphis Psychiatric Ward treatment room.
Over to the side of the small room stood Dr. Dean, while the Orderlies carefully watched Abel to see any sign of escape.
“Eurrraaaghhhh!” Abel screamed.
It was his worst nightmare, a return to Dr. Dean’s captivity.
“Oh my, Abel,” Dr. Dean mused. “You must have to come love your freedom, correct?”
During the entire Season 2 and 3 of Golden Pro Wrestling, Abel had been escaped. Living within the bowels of the FedExForum arena, he had lived off of discarded concession food and soda syrup, but at least he had been free.
It was quite the journey for him. At the end of Season 2, he had dispatched Sicko during a Basement Match, and during Season 3 he found the kindness from Dr. Garran that he had never received from Dr. Dean.
The maniacal leader of the Psych Ward, Dr. Dean, held up a syringe. With a couple of flicks of his finger, little bits of liquid squirted out from the needle’s tip.
The doctor looked down at his tortured patient.
“Well, Abel,” said the grinning doctor. “I’m afraid since your original treatment failed us, we’ll try something new.”
He nodded to Orderlies Caruso and Summers, who grabbed Abel’s wrists and ankles to hold him still.
Dr. Dean leaned forward toward Abel Unstable and plunged the needle into his arm.
Abel’s thrashing and screaming echoed out of the treatment room and down the hallway, which prompted the rest of the psychiatric patients to scream wildly in response.
