The door to his apartment creaked open slowly where the smell was a little musty, but not so bad, thought Flip.
He didn’t have anything with him other than the street clothes that a few people on the Golden Pro Wrestling roster were able to put together for him after Starfall.
It had only been a couple of days since the Season 5 finale, where Golden Ben Miller and the Golden Pros defeated Queen Solis to earn Flip’s freedom from the alter ego Flip Draco. And he couldn’t be any more thankful to Ben and the rest of the group for what they did.
As he stepped into the apartment, he realized just how much he missed this place. His home. His refuge from a complicated, busy world. A complicated, busy galaxy.
Flip didn’t really know where to pick things up. He had no cell phone, which was lost when he originally left with the Draconian at the end of Season 3. He didn’t even know if he still had cable television.
The entire apartment was silent and simple, which was a far cry from the life Flip had been leading.
The journey through Golden Pro Wrestling had been mind-bending.
First, the Draconian had singled him out as the one person who could save the planet from an impending asteroid during Season 2.
Then, after Flip failed, he convinced the Draconian to give him another chance during Season 3.
However, the Draconian simply abducted Flip Costa and taken him back to his homeworld of Draconia during Season 4. Somehow, that’s when it got weird, because the Draconian introduced him to Queen Solis… leader of all Draconium.
From the first night he spent with her, she had done whatever she wished with him, and ultimately, Flip came to find out he had impregnated Queen Solis.
Flip was, in fact, the father to an unborn royal alien child.
After Queen Solis and the Draconian brought Flip Costa back to Earth at the end of Season 4, they forced him to battle against an indominable alien named Ja’vek the Dauntless, whom he somehow defeated.
And while yes, Queen Solis and the Draconian had destroyed the asteroid headed toward Earth as a reward, they also had stolen away Flip’s humanity.
They had turned him into… Flip Draco.
The Pretty Boy From Pensacola entered his living room and sat down on his couch, still trying to process the events of that past 4 Golden Pro Wrestling seasons.
Season 5 has barely felt real when he toiled as Flip Draco. The memories were vague and confusing; he only remembered glimpses of wrestling matches and returning to Queen Solis’ bedchambers aboard the Draconian’s spaceship.
The only visceral memory he had of Season 5 was when Golden Ben Miller had forced Queen Solis’ scepter to transform him back into Flip Costa.
Unsure what to do with himself, he sat back on his couch and looked around.
At least the apartment was clean, he mused. Maybe good enough to have a girl over?
Deep down, Flip just wanted to get things back to normal heading into Season 6.
