Spilled Drink

85 Piru’s night at the club turns violent.

The steady rhythm of music inside the downtown Memphis nightclub bumped in the background. The nightclub’s patrons busily mingled while enjoying drinks in the wild, dark establishment.

In a luxurious private booth, Shotcaller and Da Bloodz chilled out with local Memphis rapper Moneybagg Yo. Moneybagg Yo wasn’t a Blood gang member, but he was one of the most popular rappers in Memphis history next to Yo Gotti and Project Pat.

“Yo Shotcaller, I gotta say mahn, you done put yourself on da front page of Memphis news,” Moneybagg Yo commented.

“Word, Money, I done exactly what I expected I would,” replied Shotcaller as he curled part of his upper lip with confidence.

On the table of the private booth laid the Pure Gold Championship belt. A discerning eye could see speckles of red blood from the night Shotcaller had executed the two members of the Yakuza gang at the end of Season 4.

Wazzup and Choo Choo, Shotcaller’s partners in their gang 85 Piru, nodded in agreement. Meanwhile, a group of “baddies” approached the booth carrying multiple bottles of expensive alcohol.

“Sup, ladies,” Choo Choo said confidently.

“Yuh, join us,” Wazzup followed.

As the girls sat down, Moneybagg Yo leaned over to Shotcaller.

“Listen, Shotcaller, next time you defend da belt, I’m finna come out and do your intro song when you go down to da ring.”

“Word, I feel dat,” Shotcaller replied.

A club patron, a medium-sized man, wobbled in front of the table and accidentally spilt his drink onto the Pure Gold Championship belt. Shotcaller, Choo Choo, Wazzup and Moneybagg Yo all quickly stood up.

“What da fuck?” Shotcaller asked.

“My bad, my bad, G,” the obviously drunk man muttered back, obviously unaware of the offense he had caused.

Wazzup placed his hand across Shotcaller’s chest.

“Don’t worry homie, we’ll take care of dis.”

Later that night, Wazzup and Choo Choo chilled in the front seat of the blood red Cadillac while Shotcaller sat in the back. Shotcaller gripped the gun sitting in his lap as they all watched the entrance to the club.

Finally, the drunk man who had spilled a drink stumbled out with a couple of his friends, and the group began to walk down the sidewalk.

Wazzup started the car and kept its headlights off while slowly creeping down the road. When they pulled up next to the drunk man, Shotcaller rolled down the tinted window slightly, raised his gun and popped out several shots.

The blood red Cadillac’s wheels screeched and 85 Piru sped down the road. Behind them, the drunk man laid on sidewalk, clutching his chest.
