Flip carefully added another t-shirt to his suitcase, and then exhaled. He sat down on his bed next to his travel bag and assorted toiletries yet to be packed, and while he would normally be excited about going on a trip, this one was different.
Since the end of Golden Pro Wrestling’s second season, Flip had been completely out of sorts. The fact that he had an opportunity to defeat the Draconian, force him to destroy the incoming asteroid and save the human race and failed… it was all Flip could think about.
Every time he walked through a grocery store and saw families with children, he internally burned. All of their lives were on the line, and unless they tuned in for Golden Pro Wrestling, they likely had no idea.
Flip stood back up from his bed and continued to pack for the trip the Draconian had promised him. He really had no idea what to expect, so he put together his usual assorted clothing to be ready for any social occasion.
On his way to the bathroom to grab another stick of deodorant, Flip caught his reflection in the mirror. Yes, he knew he was beautiful with his chiseled jawline and flowing chestnut hairlocks, but did it really matter?
Usually, his good looks bailed him out of any situation, but not this time.
Flip now had to literally wrestle with the fact that his looks failed him, and it was his character that now needed to lead.
