The Draconian stood silently on the cold, metal floor of his spaceship back in one of its cargo holds. He gazed intently at the cylindrical pod with a glass cover, which encapsulated the young human woman of Japanese descent.

A low hum of the spaceship permeated the background, and the dark room was only lit by the cobalt blue glow emanating from behind wall panels and monitoring equipment.

She was so petite and frail, the Draconian noticed. Fuse Makoto’s wife, Aiko, was nothing like the woman of Draconia, who were impressive, formidable, beautiful, and deadly.

Behind him, the Draconian could hear the swooshing of the cargo room door opening and heard footsteps.

“General, your orders are complete. This vessel is prepared for your combat with Fuse Makoto,” Dominar Shaphre cooly informed his commander.

“The hu-mahn, Fuse Makoto, will never find this room,” Dominar Fyx added.

Without turning to acknowledge his subordinates, the Draconian continued to stare down at the stasis pod. Dominar Shaphre dutifully stood silent behind him.

“Do you see this pah-thetic female?” the Draconian finally responded.

“Yes, sir,” the Dominars emotionlessly answered.

The general of Queen Solis’ forces leaned forward and ran a finger along the outside edge of the stasis pod door.

“The hu-mahn, Fuse Makoto, will do whatever it takes to free this creature. Even if she and her family force him into servitude.”

“That is the mistake of the hu-mahn way,” mused Dominar Shaphre in response.

“And, by exposing and discovering all of the mistakes of this hu-mahn species, they will be easier to subjugate,” the Draconian stated.

The Draconian and the Dominars continued to stand in silence and examine the weak human woman stored in their stasis pod.
